Fawad Khan | DAF Juried Indoor

The Festival has American Muscle.

In this piece by Fawad Khan, two simultaneous projections are set on a long loop. The non-narrative animations depict automobiles and auto parts, Brooklyn and New York symbology, construction elements such as orange netting and orange traffic cones all ricocheting off each other in a non defined space. Shards of glass and random formal elements such as bursts of light and/or explosive bars may pulse out from behind the elements appearing in the animations giving the piece dynamic and captivating elements.
