David Ellis returns to the site of his 2001 exhibition with the Barnstormers, where the team of artists created a multi-layered painting over six weeks and documented the processed with time lapse footage, creating an animated video projection work of what David calls his ‘Motion Paintings.’ Rhythm and paint are integral to David’s work – his sculptures come to life with sound and rhythm and his motion paintings are easily set to music.
