ArtBridge / Aleksandar Macasev

ArtBridge presents: ‘ChromaTweet by Aleksandar Macasev.’ An installation born from the artist’s online nano blogging project in which each post consists of a color tone that reflects the artist’s feelings and moods during the day. The piece can be read as a kind of mood calendar, the colorfull two-year-long emotional journey of a New York City based artist.

Artist Statement / Bio

Aleksandar Macasev was born in Becej, Yugoslavia on 3 August 1971. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1998. He is member of Art Directors Club, Belgrade,  Applied Artists Association of Serbia and American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). He works in a variety of visual culture disciplines (graphic/web design, contemporary art). He lives and works in New York City.
