Nick Yulman and Hope Dector

‘Coppercussion/Papercussion’ is a collaboration between sound artist Nick Yulman and printmaker Hope Dector who use the materials of printmaking, electronics and sound to create a network of automated musical devices.

Artist Statement / Bio

Brooklyn-based artist Nick Yulman works with sound in a variety of contexts such as mechanical musical instrument installations, interviews, field recordings and pop songs, which he has shown and performed at venues worldwide. He received a BA in Studio Art and English from Wesleyan University and is currently a student at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunication Program.
