In this richly colorful series, the persona of the artist is the central figure, performing a psychological struggle with her doppelgänger—a sinister ghostly double of a living person. These striking images will amuse, challenge, intrigue and captivate the viewer.
Artist Statement / Bio
Cornelia Hediger was awarded a MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She was awarded a PDN's 30 Photographers to Watch in 2009. Her work has been exhibited widely and is represented several private collections. She lives and works in New York City. Doppelgänger II is a richly colorful series of photographs that amuse, challenge and intrigue and forms her second solo show at the eponymous Klompching Gallery.
