The Festival proudly announces the interactive project Before I die I want to…

Before I die I want to… is an international initiative that creates a healthy dialogue on death, empowering people to live their lives to the fullest. The collection of over 1300 photographs  exhibits people of all walks of life answering the question “what do you want to do before you die?” People interview members of their community, beginning the conversation with that pointed question. Each participant’s Polaroid photo is taken in the moment they state their want and they write their statement at the bottom of the photo. Their vital information is collected and the project administrators keep in touch with them to ensure that they are fulfilling on their promise, increasing the level of accountability and integrity within communities.
